JOHANNESBURG - Residents, civil society groups and activists gathered at Marks Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The high level public gathering aimed to find solutions to the city's problems, demand accountability and plot a way forward, as the service crisis deepens.
Organisers discussed whether real change is possible and what pressure must be applied to those in power.
eNCA's Nabeelah Shaikh spoke to Julia Fish, the Managing Director of Joburg Community Action Network (JoburgCAN).
Fish said the local government elections are a key focus, as well as service delivery.
