JOHANNESBURG - Following the break-in at his Bryanston office Advocate Muzi Sikhakhane said key client information remains secure despite the theft of computer equipment.
He maintained that sensitive legal material is protected through additional safeguards and that the incident on the weekend has not compromised critical information.
“Well, it's not all that was taken. So I actually have my information with me. I've learned this over years, that I keep them where someone would have to kill me to get them.
“So most of the things that I work with that I think I would suspect people would want, I keep safer than something one would get when they walk into my house. Information for my clients, that's sensitive, remains with me,” he said.
Robbers broke into Sikhakhane's private office at his residence, stealing computers and laptops.
His wife and children were inside the house, but no injuries were reported.
