Construction mafia | CT city officials in safe houses due to threats

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town continues to battle with extortion related crime in the construction industry.

Officials have blacklisted several companies on its database allegedly linked to known gangsters.

Services and contractors were being affected so much that a war room has to be set up in response.

But while the city is getting a grip on the scourge, some  private construction companies are now feeling the pinch.
