JOHANNESBURG - Five officials linked to the Rooiwal scandal have gone to court in an attempt to stop new charges from being added to their disciplinary hearing.
The additional charges are based on evidence gathered during the Special Investigating Unit probe into the matter.

The City of Tshwane wants the disciplinary process to continue while opposing the urgent court application.
The officials are also challenging an earlier Labour Court ruling, which said the matter must be sent back to the disciplinary process.
