Covid-19 in SA | No spike in cases but people urged to get the jab
JOHANNESBURG - The Health Department is allaying fears of a surge of COVID-19 cases in the country.
It follows reports of a new wave sweeping China.

Experts believe the Omicron variant could peak at around 65 million cases a week by the end of June.
The department says it's continued its surveillance work and has not picked up a spike or new variants.
Despite this, the department is urging people to get vaccinated and take booster shots.
