Crime in SA | Cele: 'Police are responding around the country'

JOHANNESBURG - Police Minister Bheki Cele says the police have made several breakthroughs and arrests in different provinces over the past few weeks.

Cele was speaking in Sebokeng earlier after nine cash-in-transit suspects were killed in a shootout with police.

He said several firearms were recovered at the scene.

Cele says that they are profiling the suspects.

One of them is believed to be from KwaZulu-Natal.
