'Crime scene was cleaned', witness reveals at Meyiwa murder trial

PRETORIA - Witness statements from neighbours reveal that the house where Senzo Meyiwa was shot was cleaned before police cordoned it off.

Patrick Mthethwa was one of the first police officers on the scene, and he's now concluded his testimony in the high court in Pretoria.

Mthethwa was an entry-level police officer when he and his colleagues attended the crime scene in 2014.

Advocate Zandile Mshololo accused Mthethwa and his colleagues of failing to do their jobs.
