Curator assigned to take control of Teffo bank accounts

JOHANNESBURG - Former advocate Malesela Teffo received thousands of rands from clients for services he never rendered to them.

This was heard in the High Court in Pretoria on Friday where he's been described as dishonest.

A curator has been assigned to take control of his bank accounts, which he used to receive money from clients.

The Legal Practice Council's Johan van Staden said, "firstly, he is required to hand over his certificate of enrollment."

"I've been appointed as curator."

"I am in a position to take control of banking accounts that he used for purposes of receiving money from clients."
