DURBAN - A damaged valve at Nagle Dam in KwaZulu-Natal has been repaired.
The valve failure left large parts of the city in the grip of water rationing.
The Durban Heights Water Treatment Works is expected to operate at full capacity from Tuesday.
Officials warn that full recovery of reservoirs and pipelines across the city may take up to two weeks.
Temporary rationing remains in place. Some areas receive water only in the mornings and others twice a day.
