Deadline looming for Ramaphosa to sign Copyright Amendment Bill
JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa has until Saturday to sign the Copyright Amendment Bill into law.
It follows a 2022 Constitutional Court order which gave Parliament until 21 September 2024 to finalise it.
The bill aims to enable visually impaired individuals to access published works in accessible formats without needing permission from copyright holders.
Blind SA President Christo de Klerk discussed this with eNCA.
