Defence in Meyiwa trial want to subpoena Kelly Khumalo

JOHANNESBURG - The lawyer for accused number 1 in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial says he intends to subpoena Kelly Khumalo.

In 2023 a specialist police officer testified that call records showed the musician and former girlfriend of Senzo Meyiwa was in contact with one of the men accused of murdering the former Bafana Bafana star.

In court on Monday, her name once again came up when a witness testified Khumalo wanted to go see a healer after the shooting.
