JOHANNESBURG - Controversial and politically connected businessman Brown Mogotsi survived a shooting in Vosloorus in the East Rand last night.
It is believed that unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle.
Police are on the way to the scene.
Mogotsi's name has featured prominently in probes into alleged rot in the police service.
He's accused of criminal activities, meddling in SAPS and bankrolling Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu.
Mogotsi's business premises were raided in the North West in October.
