JOHANNESBURG - Frustration continues to mount in Diepsloot as power outages persist.
Community leaders met with Eskom officials and representatives from the Public Protector’s Office on Tuesday, in a bid to resolve the long-standing crisis.
In August last year, law enforcement removed more than 35 transformers from Diepsloot Extension 6, after Eskom cited widespread illegal connections.
Since then, residents have been demanding the return of the transformers and the restoration of their electricity supply.
