JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng’s provincial government departments racked up another R4.2 billion in irregular expenditures in the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
Despite this, Finance MEC Lebogang Maile announced that 14 of the 19 provincial entities received clean audits.
But he has expressed concern over the Health and Education Departments, whose audit findings showed a concerning regression.
