A new witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has told the court of how she saw the soccer star being resuscitated just moments before doctors declared him dead.

PRETORIA - A new witness in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial has told the court of how she saw the soccer star being resuscitated just moments before doctors declared him dead.

Nthabiseng Mokete was one of the neighbours who saw the chaos unfold at the Khumalo house on the day Meyiwa was killed.

She’s faced tough questions from the defense.

Mokete was inside a car with a friend opposite the Khumalo’s Vosloorus home on 26 October 2014 when the chaos unfolded.

She also told the court of the soccer star’s final moments in the hospital after being called into the ward where Meyiwa was being attended to.

The trial continues on Thursday.
