JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has announced Dr Tlaleng Mofokeng as its Johannesburg mayoral candidate.
The EFF made the announcement over the weekend during its 13th anniversary and Manifesto launch at Thohoyandou Stadium in Limpopo.

Other mayoral candidates for all metropolitan municipalities were also announced at the launch.
Mofokeng will be going against Helen Zille of the DA, Herman Mashaba of ActionSA, Lukhona Mnguni of Rise Mzansi, Mlungisi Mabaso of IFP, Ntsiki Mazwai of the Land Party, as well as Nobuntu Hlazo-Webster of BOSA
The ANC has not yet announced its mayoral candidates.
