JOHANNESBURG - Families of the South African National Defence Force members who died during the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will be able to view their bodies.
This process is expected to happen before the government's official handover ceremony at Air Force Base Swartkop in Centurion.
This is according to Master Chief Warrant Officer Ncedakele Mtshatsheni.

Initially, the ceremony, which was scheduled to take place on Thursday morning, is now taking place in the evening.
According to Mtshatsheni the ceremony is expected to be brief which will then be proceeded by a memorial service.
