PRETORIA - Congolese nationals in South Africa are calling on the European Union to sanction the Rwandan government.
The Congolese diaspora say they do not want M23 rebels -- who are allegedly funded by the Rwandan government -- in their home country.
More than 1,000 Congolese nationals marched to the EU offices in Pretoria to submit a memorandum with a list of demands.
They also pleaded with the South African government not to withdraw its troops from the SADC Mission in the DRC, saying the soldiers are their last hope in the ongoing conflict.
