JOHANNESBURG - Business Against Crime South Africa says it's ramping up support for police ahead of planned anti-migrant protests.
Through its E2-Plus programme, BACSA says more than 500 private-sector partners have mobilised resources to back up police operations.

This includes helicopters, drones, armoured vehicles, ambulances, K9 units and thousands of CCTV cameras.
BACSA says the aim is to strengthen police readiness, improve intelligence-sharing and help protect communities, businesses and key infrastructure as tensions build.
