Durban Beach Closures | Fears around impact on tourism

DURBAN - It’s school holidays but beach closures in Durban are ruining pupils’ plans.

It's happened several times recently due to high levels of E.Coli.

The eThekwini Municipality blames this on sewage infrastructure damaged in the April floods.

Tourism experts are predicting a further decline in the usual December rush if the situation persists.
