Durban M41 truck driver granted bail

KZN truck driver Sithulile Zulu is facing charges of reckless and negligent driving and failure to comply with the duties of a driver following an accident.

JOHANNESBURG - KwaZulu-Natal truck driver Sithulile Zulu has been granted R5,000 bail.

Zulu is facing charges of reckless and negligent driving and failure to comply with the duties of a driver following an accident.

The charges relate to a 49-car pile-up on the M41 in Umhlanga.

Some of his bail conditions include not leaving his Mtubatuba residence and not contacting his employer.

His case has been postponed to 8 June for further investigations.
