POLOKWANE - New regulations to govern the e-hailing service sector are set to come into effect on Friday.
The Transport Department will gazette the regulations intended to enhance safety and avoid conflict between the taxi industry and e-hailing services.
Some of the new regulations include subjecting drivers to criminal checks and for Uber and Bolt to register for licences that will indicate their geographic areas.
