E-Tolls | OUTA urges motorists not to pay a cent

JOHANNESBURG - It’s a glorious morning for Gauteng motorists as they wave goodbye to e-tolls.

The era of paying to use the highways is over, but, OUTA's tireless efforts are not yet over. The Transport Minister says drivers are still liable for existing e-toll bills.

Gauteng motorists are excited that e-tolls are ending. But many are adamant that they will not be paying historic debt.

The Transport Minister, Gauteng Premier and Sanral outlined yesterday that that motorists are still obligated to pay what they owe.
