EC mother who allegedly killed kids dies

EAST LONDON - Nomboleko Simayile has died.

She was the Eastern Cape mother accused of killing her four children with a sledgehammer.                     

Her family have confirmed to eNCA that she passed away Sunday afternoon.

Police say Simayile died after complaining that she was feeling sick and being rushed to hospital.

The exact cause of death is still to be determined.

The 32-year-old mother had previously been admitted to hospital moments before making her second court appearance on Thursday.

She had allegedly confessed to killing her children aged between two and 11, they were laid to rest on Friday.

She had been expected back in court on 29 November
