Ekurhuleni council | Chief Whip to meet Speaker after chaotic sitting

JOHANNESBURG - The Ekurhuleni Council Chief Whip says an urgent meeting will be held with the Speaker on Friday.

This follows violent, chaotic scenes that unfolded during Thursday night's sitting.

It was all over a motion of no confidence in Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana.

The ANC says it will continue to support the motion brought by ActionSA.
