The MOU is meant to clarify minister Pravin Gordhan and minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa's responsibilities, in a bid to end the energy crisis.
It outlines Ramokgopa's roles, that include focusing entirely on the work and all aspects of the National Energy Crisis Committee.

The MOU states the two ministers will have regular review meetings with President Ramaphosa.
