JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress is happy with the developments coming out of Eskom.
The power utility seems to be making strides in reducing rolling blackouts and improving the energy supply.
South Africans enjoyed uninterrupted electricity over the past few days for the first time this year but stage two and three blackouts have returned.
"The ANC welcomes positive spinoffs that are starting to show from the implementation of the energy action plan," he said.
"We also note that Eskom protection made on 22 January 2023 has materialised. Eskom made a projection to the effect that the energy availability factor will increase from 58% to 70% toward the end of March 2023 and that has exactly happened."
