Eskom to implement Stage 3 blackouts

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom will implement Stage 3 power cuts from 4pm on Monday until 5am on Tuesday.

The power utility says Stage 2 blackouts will be implemented thereafter, until further notice.

Eskom says the power cuts are due to breakdowns and depleted emergency generation reserves.
