Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter has warned that the country might experience stage six power cuts from this evening. #DStv403
JOHANNESBURG - Eskom will implement Stage 6 blackouts from 4pm until 10pm on Tuesday.
The utility will revert back to Stage 4 blackouts from 10pm to midnight.
Stage 2 blackouts will resume from midnight until 5am on Wednesday.
Stage 4 blackouts will continue from 5am until 4pm on Wednesday, thereafter Stage 6 until 10pm.
The power utility warns that the stage of power cuts may change at short notice.
It's blaming the blackouts on disruptions to Eskom power plants due to unprotected labour action.
