JOHANNESBURG - After the shock of stage 6 at the weekend, Eskom has now suspended power cuts.
The power utility says this is due to the successful recovery of generation capacity, and good progress in replenishing emergency reserves.
It says while some replenishment is still needed, these developments will result in a stable power system.
Eskom will communicate any changes to this on Friday, or as soon as any significant changes occur.
