JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has said it's making steady progress in its plan to eliminate load reduction across the country.
The power utility said nearly 900-thousand households have had their power restored.
It represents 52% of its target.
The Northern Cape and Western Cape have already eliminated load reduction.
Eskom said the programme forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the network and improve electricity reliability for communities affected by decaying infrastructure.
