eThekwini municipal strike | DA wants Durban ratepayers reimbursed

DURBAN - Ratepayers should not pay the price of political games between unions and political parties.

This is according to the DA in eThekwini, which says politics was behind the prolonged municipal strike.

It now wants the municipality to reimburse residents for the interrupted services.

Residents were asked to provide their own services, like waste disposal.
