EXCLUSIVE: Joburg Chief Whip speaks on surviving shooting ordeal

JOHANNESBURG - Last week, Rand Water executive, Teboho Joala, was shot and killed in Zakariyya Park while attending a back-to-school event with Joburg councilor and chief whip, Sthembiso Zungu.

In cellphone footage, the gunman can be seen entering the venue.

Minutes later he walks up to the podium and opens fire.

Zungu was sitting next to Joala - and survived the attack.

He relayed the ordeal to eNCA reporter Heidi Giokos in this exclusive interview.
