Fears apartheid victims may never get justice

JOHANNESBURG - Today we commemorate Human Rights Day.

But, there has been no justice for some of those who paid the ultimate price to secure those rights.

Government has failed to prosecute perpetrators of apartheid-era crimes.

There are calls for an inquiry into allegations that political interference stopped NPA prosecutions.

The TRC made recommendations for further investigations and prosecutions of a number of cases.
