Findings into the death of Latoya Temilton expected

JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Education Department is expected to release findings into the death of Pretoria school pupil, Latoya Temilton.

The 12-year-old from Laerskool Queenswood in Tshwane died at a school leadership camp in January.

Temilton was allegedly swimming unsupervised at the time of her death.

The Grade 7 pupil's death sparked outrage among parents at the school and prompted the Gauteng Education Department to rope in an independent firm to investigate.
