BOKSBURG - Police have pounced on properties of suspects allegedly implicated in the murder of Emmanuel Mbense.
The owner of Titen Security, Etienne Van der Walt was raided on Wednesday afternoon.
Ten of his firearms were seized.
Speaking to eNCA, Van der Walt said this operation had to do more with the Firearms Control Act.

He said through the operation, he complied and gave way to officials to the seizure.
"They need to take the firearms for ballistic preferences. And we allowed them to do it," he said.
It is reported that Van der Walt is not the only one whose property has been raided.
When questioned if this had anything to do with him being implicated in the Madlanga Commission, he said none of that was communicated to him.
"I did ask the question. Nothing was said to me about that. The warrant was very professional. He said to me, it's only got to do with a list of people or a very long list of companies that they are looking into. They can't tell me if it has to do with those cases or not," he said.
Van der Walt maintains innocence and says he will comply with investigations as he has nothing to hide.
