Former NW Premier Bushy Maape remembered as a hard worker

JOHANNESBURG - Tributes continue to pour in following the passing of former North West Premier Bushy Maape.

He died surrounded by family at the age of 68.

His friend and MK combatant, Jomo Khas, remembers him as a humble, hardworking, and strategic leader.

Jomo Khasu, a friend and fellow MK combatant, said Maape was always a teacher at heart.

"He was a quiet person, humble. Always working from behind. While he was actually a strategic worker. He occupied responsibility. He was a strategist, a hard worker. Educationist in blood and in action. He is a professional teacher. Throughout his participation in the ANC. From 1994, he chose to be a political trainer in various fields in the ANC.
