EAST LONDON - The fraud trial of Eastern Cape Health spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo kicked off in East London on Wednesday.

Kupelo stands accused of using a fake matric certificate to secure his government job years ago.
His boss, Siyanda Manana, reportedly blew the whistle on the alleged fake qualifications.
The Special Investigating Unit is also probing allegations linked to politicians who unlawfully gained qualifications at the University of Fort Hare.
