Free State ANC recalls Mangaung mayor

JOHANNESBURG - The ANC in the Free State has recalled the Mangaung mayor because it feels the metro needs new leadership.

That's the word from the party's interim provincial committee.

The cabinet placed the municipality under national administration last year after significant financial and service delivery challenges.

Now the provincial ANC has removed Mxolisi Siyonzana as mayor.
