Gauteng municipalities owe Rand Water billions

JOHANNESBURG - Rand Water is owed billions by various municipalities around Gauteng.
The unpaid bills have undermined the water boards' ability to fulfill its mandate and provide clean and safe water to communities.

While one is tempted to blame Rand Water for outages across Gauteng, they have also been caused by persistent blackouts in the country.
