JOHANNESBURG - The deadline for online admissions for parents applying for Grade 1 and 8 placements closes at midnight.
Gauteng Education is urging parents who have not yet applied to do so as soon as possible.
It's also reminding parents to ensure all the correct paperwork is submitted to ensure a smooth process.
Gauteng Education spokesperson Steve Mabona said over 800,000 applications have been received.
"We are calling on parents to go into the system to make sure they apply before the deadline," he said.
Mabona said if an application is not completed, a learner will not be placed.
