JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Education MEC Lebogang Maile will give an update on the online school admission process.
The 2027 admission for Grade 1 and 8 pupils closed on Friday.
It had been open since 5 August.
The MEC will also outline the next steps in the admissions process, with the focus now shifting to placements.
He will also guide parents on what to expect as the department moves forward.
The online system is known mainly for the headaches it gives parents every year.
