Generator sparks blaze at Eugene Marais Hospital

PRETORIA - Emergency services have contained a fire at the Eugene Marais Hospital in Pretoria.

It's believed a standby generator was the source of the blaze.

No deaths or injuries have been reported, but smoke has affected operations.

"Fortunately, the hospital staff had evacuated abut 20 patients," said Charles Mabaso from Tshwane EMS.
