JOHANNESBURG - Abject poverty has hit more than a hundred families at a village in Port St Johns.

Aid organisation, Gift of the Givers, has rushed to the rescue.

The organisation's coordinator in the Eastern Cape, Corene Conradie spoke with eNCA about the dire situation.
