JOHANNESBURG - AMCU is taking Gold One Mine to the CCMA following the dismissal of over 300 mineworkers.

The mine, however, says it followed proper processes before dismissing the workers.

This comes after hundreds of workers were issued letters of dismissal for participating in wildcat strikes.

Disgruntled employees were demanding Gold One recognise AMCU as the majority union over its rival, NUM.

It says it will cooperate with the CCMA process.
