JOHANNESBURG - The Agriculture Department has received another 3.5-million doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccines.
The Biogénesis Bagó jabs take the total doses available to 13.5-million.
The delivery comes on the back of a High Court ruling.
It ordered Minister John Steenhuisen to allow farmers to buy their own vaccines.
Agriculture groups had challenged Steenhuisen's move to ban independent procurement.
He wanted to centralise the vaccine rollout programme.
