JOHANNESBURG - There are now more illicit cigarettes being sold in South Africa than legal ones.
UCT researchers say the illicit trade is dominating the cigarette market and depriving the state of vast sums of revenue.
Director of the UCT Research Unit on the Economics of Excisable Products, Professor Corne van Walbeek, spoke to #eNCA's Francis Herd.
