Greater Giyani's promised sports centre becomes decade-long nightmare

GIYANI, Limpopo - In Greater Giyani, Limpopo, a once-promising sports centre has become a decade-long nightmare.

What began as a R29-million project is now an unfinished, abandoned site, overrun by crime.

The municipality blames bad planning and rising costs, and says it plans to spend another R10-million on finishing the project,
