Aaron Ngobeni says the association is still in the process of engaging the community.
Ngobeni said, "years and years we’re promised that this problem shall be solved. The ward councillors would come and address the community and say we will address this problem but nothing is being done."
"So now it has culminated into taking lives, so it means this is serious. I will be honest, we have been sitting down doing nothing."
"Now since this problem is claiming lives, who must under those circumstances? You can't sit and fold your arms."
"We need to stand up and see to it that we do something so that this problem can be solved. Tomorrow it may be my sister or my brother. So we don’t want that.”
