To bolster border control, the Border Management Authority (BMA) continues to rely on drones and body cameras as part of a high-tech crackdown on illegal movement.
Commissioner of the BMA Dr. Mike Masiapato, says the new technology has significantly improved their operations, enabling more real-time surveillance and quicker response from ground teams.
“These devices have made us more effective than conducting normal patrols alone," he said.
Masiapatosays facilitators of illegal operations have been identified and will face the full might of the law.
